JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a business-minded and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to help drive and measure growth of new business initiatives. The Junior Financial Analyst helps support decision-making by analyzing financial outcomes, managing budgets, and reporting monthly results. The Analyst will work closely with financial and operational teams across the organization to build businesses. This role will support the fast-growing OutKick brand, amongst other FOX initiatives.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting of expense and revenue
• Run profitability and performance reports for the month end analysis
• Book journal entries and estimates
• Track and analyze performance of key initiatives
• Work with operating divisions to manage costs
• Support decision-making by building and presenting models that analyze various financial outcomes
• Handle day to day requests that require financial approval
• Create reports and reconcile expense accounts as needed
• Perform some accounts payable duties such as review and reconcile invoices, code documents to general ledger accounts, process expense reports, and other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 0-3 years of experience in a financial role. Media, internet, sports or wagering sector experience is a plus but not required
• Bachelor's Degree in a business-related area
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• A desire to work with data. Experience working with financial models/budgets a plus
• Entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn and grow in your career
• A team player with the ability to accomplish tasks independently
• Detail-oriented approach
• Maturity to work directly with business leaders, as needed
