We are seeking a motivated MBA or other graduate-level student interested in joining our global Customer Advocacy team as an intern in spring 2025. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the B2B SaaS industry through the lens of our most valuable stakeholders: our customers. You will learn the basics of program management, and have the chance to assist with the following projects:
Implementation of a new MarTech platform
Building multiple new processes for requesting customer engagement that will give you the opportunity to interface with key stakeholders from many other departments within Workiva
Event logistics for several high-profile customer events
The publication process for Workiva customer stories
Research projects to do with social proof, ROI of content pieces, and other topics as assigned
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, has the ability to take initiative, has excellent research and writing skills, and is a pro-active collaborator and communicator. We are looking for someone who can help Identify business opportunities that enhance operational efficiencies, to accelerate progress toward key business objectives. The internship can be in-person (for a student located near our Ames, IA office) or remote.
What You'll Do
Measure and report on the performance of customer marketing initiatives
Support the execution of events, webinars, and community-building activities to align with sales and support marketing initiatives
Support the implementation and deployment of new customer marketing technology. Including data input and migration, testing, and development of training materials.
Help manage Workiva’s peer review sites to include; managing review comments and updating of marketing materials associated with award recognition
Conduct gap analysis for strategic initiatives to identify areas of improvement, prioritize resources, and to align team focus on high-impact opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, and Customer Success) to help execute customer marketing initiatives.
Assist with organization and execution of international customer advocacy efforts, namely in LATAM, EMEA, and APAC
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in first year of an MBA program or similar graduate program
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years project management within a large or midsize, preferably global, organization; increased in job responsibilities over the year over year
Experience facilitating processes that involve multiple teams and stakeholders
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to research, analyze, and succinctly report data
Experience with Monday.com, ON24, Adobe Express a plus
Travel Requirements and Working Conditions
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
