WHAT YOU’LL DO:

POSITION TITLE: SAP iXp Intern – User Assistance / UX Writer Intern 

LOCATION: Newport Beach, CA

EXPECTED START DATE TO END DATE: August 30, 2021

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL:

You will be responsible for assisting the technical writers in the team to write documentation for SAP’s software products. We develop the information critical to our customer's success with our products. Our documentation includes developer guides, installation guides, user guides, API documentation, translation review, UI/UX copy, and online help. You will work closely with professional writers, product managers, UX designers, and software developers to gain a real understanding of software documentation.

We offer a comprehensive training plan, including business knowledge, SAP’s software, documentation tools, writing skills, and SAP’s house style.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Reliability and open mindset with strong team working skills
• Must be comfortable with fast pace and ambiguity
• Passionate about understanding our customers and be able to speak to them the way they would like to be spoken to
• Help maintain the consistent voice and tone for Eureka
• Attention to detail – keen on consistency
• Excited to collaborate across the organization to make customers have clear, accurate, accessible information on how to use our products and integrate it into their business practices
• Solid academic record
• Fast learner
• Please include a few writing samples with your application

ADDITIONAL ASSETS AND NICE TO HAVE:

• Knowledge of accepted technical writing principles and practices
• Experience in translation
• Experience with design tools such as Figma or Sketch is a plus
• Previous experience working with development teams
• Previous internship experience a plus
