ABOUT THIS ROLE:

We are looking for a Senior ML Ops Engineer to help us develop the next big thing in business software. SAP is uniquely positioned to achieve this task, as hundreds of billions of events, representing more than 75% of the world’s transaction revenue, touch an SAP system. We are leveraging large amounts of heterogeneous “big data,” artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and create insights for our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

• Automates machine learning pipelines, enables scalable development of resilient machine learning systems and operates machine learning systems & models in production.

• Operates ML projects in production

• Defines and implements data validation strategies

• Monitors complex machine learning models in production

• Retrains machine learning models based on performance, insights and feedback from production

• Ensures quality of deployed machine learning models

• Ensures scalability of ML model development

• Automates and operates ML pipelines

• Sets up and operates MLOps infrastructure and applies MLOps principles

• Strengthens collaboration and communication across team boundaries

• Collaborates with scientists on developing and evaluating machine learning models using large datasets

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Data Science or related field

• 2+ years of industry experience in big data, machine learning or related field

• Experience with Spark

• Experience with Machine Learning development process

• Experience deploying and operating ML models in production

• Experience with applying MLOps principles incl. Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Continuous Training (CT) and Continuous Monitoring (CM) to scale machine learning development

• Experience with MLOps services and tools (e.g. Kubeflow, MLFlow, Sagemaker Pipelines, Vertex Pipelines, etc.)

• Experience with cloud infrastructure - AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

• Experience with containerization and management (K8s, Docker)

• Experience in Agile software development
