    What you’ll do:

    Position title: SAP Labs US iXp Intern – Software Developer

    Location: San Francisco or Palo Alto, CA (Bay Area)

    Expected start date to end date: October/November 2023

    Duration: 6 Months

    In this role, you will lead technological initiatives (from ideation to execution) to maximize the experience of internal programs across the MD Office.

    You will specifically influence change across the team by:

    • Providing strategic analysis and exploration into university Gen AI transformations and engagements

    • Enhancing matching tools for rotations and mentorship or the tech rotational program

    • Creation of data dashboards to encapsulate and report employee experiences of internal offerings that will be adopted regionally

    • Automation of rotation experience tracking

    What you bring:

    We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

    You should also have/be:

    Currently enrolled student in one of these preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent major

    Tech Skills:

    • Backend Development: Database knowledge with experience in SQL and use of Python backend frameworks. Experience in Java, Node.js also preferred.

    • Frontend Development: Web development skills in JavaScript, HTML and CSS, React and Fiori experience a plus

    • Track Record: Previous programming experience as an intern, student research assistant or private projects on Github

    • Data Science: Algorithm development and data skills preferred, but not required

    • Project Management: Ability to manage tasks and timeline to meet deadlines

    Business Skills:

    • Customer-Centric: Understand customer needs and translate to actionable items

    • Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal skills in English

    • Growth Mindset: Ability to think creatively and disrupt the status quo

    • Process-oriented: Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

    • Problem-solver: Proactive in solving and communicating issues with

    Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
