You’ll research podcast trends, assess the competitive landscape, and use SEO and analytics insights to help inform our evolution. You’ll also play a hands-on role in creating engaging supporting content, enabling internal teams, and building promotional toolkits to amplify the podcast’s impact.

    During this internship, you will:

    • Support the end-to-end podcast production process , including writing show notes, tracking episode status, and analyzing episode performance
    • Create engaging supporting content , including episode summaries, transcript-based blog posts, and an eBook grouping podcast themes and standout quotes for use across various marketing channels
    • Explore new formats and distribution channels , including YouTube video podcasts and micro-podcasts, and contribute to creative development and content planning for each
    • Research and analyze competitor podcasts , identifying trends, standout strategies, and opportunities to differentiate and elevate SAP Concur Conversations
    • Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas to increase engagement, enhance the listener experience, and elevate the podcast’s role within the broader content strategy
    • Monitor podcast performance using analytics tools and improve upon reporting by exploring opportunities to access more granular platform data (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.)
    • Develop an internal enablement toolkit to help cross-functional teams leverage podcast content, including a quote bank, guidance on partnering with the podcast, and tips for internal amplification
    • Build guest speaker promotional kits that include social media content, audiograms, and suggested messaging to make it easy for guests and internal stakeholders to promote new episodes
    • Collaborate with a fun, forward-thinking content marketing team that values creativity, storytelling, and smart strategy

How this project will drive real business impact and results:

The SAP Concur Conversations podcast is a strategic and high-performing thought leadership channel in our content ecosystem, driving thousands of listens annually and contributing directly to web traffic, engagement metrics, and brand visibility. The podcast plays a key role in building brand trust, accelerating buyer journeys, and deepening customer relationships.

Your work will directly support a podcast that:

    • It is featured in prospect and customer campaigns, demand generation efforts, and social media programs, making it a key lever for awareness and conversion.
    • Acts as a relationship-building tool, showcasing real customer voices and authentic stories that foster loyalty, advocacy, and deeper emotional connection.
    • Serves as a platform for differentiation in a competitive marketplace, enabling us to express thought leadership and perspective in dynamic, human ways that written content alone cannot.
    • Helps strengthen the reputation of SAP Concur as the market leader in travel, expense, and spend management.

The insights, deliverables, and creative input you bring to this role will influence how we connect with audiences, engage decision-makers, and elevate our brand voice across channels. Your contributions will have real visibility and influence, helping drive the evolution and expansion of a channel that sets us apart in the market.
