What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - iOS Developer

Location: San Ramon, CA

Working Model: Hybrid

Schedule: 40 HR/week

Expected start date: September 2024

Duration: 6 Months

Be spending time in our team will give you experience in the following skills:

• A holistic view of the System development lifecycle (SDLC) in respects to native (iOS and Android) mobile apps
• Knowledge of client-server architecture and platform development in the context of a consumer like experience in the enterprise
• Experience of being an integrated member of scrum team
• Understanding of team dynamics, communication and contributing to an agile organization
• Insights into how consumer apps can provide a competitive edge to enterprise

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

We are looking for an intern who is passionate about providing a superior user experience through unique native apps and experiences to our employees. During your internship, you will be working within one of our scrum teams and will be involved in daily standups, design, code reviews, testing, user support, quality assurance and delivery. Ideally you would have had some experience, or passion for, writing automated, unit, integration or manual tests and background in app development through Swift, SwiftUI and XCode and XCTests. However, most importantly, you are interested in learning more about app development, what internal technology teams provide to a business and be willing and open to tasks, suggestions and ideas and contributing to a team environment.

• Qualified applicants will be enrolled in an Associate, Bachelor, or Master’s level degree program pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Preference will be given to students who are in their last year of study.
• 3 months of iOS Development/Swift experience or equivalent is required.
• Qualified applicants must be available to work for 12 full months (a combination of part- and full-time work is available).
• Preference will be given to students who are local to the Bay Area.

CPIT (Corporate IT and Processes) is a unit within SAP which is responsible for developing, delivering, and running the Intelligent Enterprise at SAP. Within CPIT, the Experience Engineering team is responsible for ideating, developing, and supporting over 30 diverse native mobile and web apps for SAP's 100K+ employees. Our team is comprised Web, iOS and Backend developers, Designers, Quality Assurance and Testing engineers, Support engineers, Students and Operations engineers.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 15-62 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
