ABOUT THE TEAM

We are seeking a motivated student to take advantage of this unique opportunity to be part of SAP’s Industry Business Solutions team.   Selected student will work closely with SAP Product/Solution Management and Go-to-Market Processes (GTM) global teams, the Graduate Associate will engage to enable strategic GTM processes, communications, and internal/partner enablement to drive awareness and demand generation activities to drive sales.

We want interns to deeply understand the functions of GTM and product management at the end of their internship by giving them an end to end view of these functions by providing them hands-on experience learning.  

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Position title:  SAP iXp Product Management Intern Location: Newtown Square, PA or Remote US East/Mid Regions  – please note that roles will be remote until local guidelines ensure safe office reopenings Expected start date to end date:  January 3, 2023 – June 30, 2023  

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL: •    Assist the Product Manager with creation and execution of end-user-based research for the assigned industry niche product.   Build a clear understanding of all relevant product features, understand various product categories and provide input for customer facing materials to help customers make the most of the products they have purchased. •    Assist with development of marketing materials including presentations and other collateral in order to continuously improve such assets as we commercially launch product releases.    •    Gather market intelligence, conduct field research, support sales efforts, and help facilitate new product launches and monitor competitive activity and positioning. •    Bring thought leadership, templates, and models to help facilitate demand generation activities. •    Construct internal and customer facing presentations to drive sales and support product development.   •    Incorporate simplified GTM messaging as well as strong, powerful key messages throughout customer demonstration scripts and other collateral. •    Drive creation of continous product materials for social media, update of weibsite content to reflect latest product offering as well as driving new social media initiatives. •    Our team and product has a global impact and sold in multiple markets. This provides you with unique insight into solving problems at scale and understanding the nuances between markets. •    By the end of the program you will have built a global network of talented Marketeers, Product Managers, Developers, Industry Experts and business leaders. You'll also have an extensive network for peers with whom you will have built great relationships!   The network you build and the impression you make during the program will be invaluable throughout your career.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

In addition to academic qualifications, we're looking for interns who are motivated, curious and have a desire to learn.  You'll need to have great attention to detail, but with a great sense of agility and scope. We look for interns who are meticulous and take pride in their work. Balance is important to us; we work hard, but think it's also important to have a good sense of humor and have fun while doing great work!

•    A successful candidate is someone who is working towards a bachelor's degree in these related areas of study:

• Marketing / Communications

• Business Administration

•    Strong academic standing, preferred GPA of 3.0 •    Proven leadership and active participant in collaborative environments with strong project management and organizational skills.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

•    Base understanding of the software industry  •    Understanding of the Telecommunications industry a plus •    Great communications skills •    Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to express complex matters in a crisp, easy to understand, and consumable-fashion. •    Ability to take a complex solution and undertake sophisticated analysis, simplify, and quickly articulate a storyline and create high-impact presentations •    Superior interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships across functions, levels, and geographies – internally and externally. •    A successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working within rapidly changing environments, is comfortable with ambiguity, thrives on hard word, and demonstrates strong business acumen with the ighest level of integrity •    Fluent in English.

COMPENSATION RANGE TRANSPARENCY: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
