Beacon is looking for a Supply Chain Purchasing Intern.

JOB PURPOSE:

The COI Analyst will support Supply Chain to ensure valid Certificates are on file.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review Certificates received via email and USPS

• Verify vendor

• Evaluate COI for accuracy and completeness (dates, coverages, Description of Operations and Certificate Holder Address)

• Work with vendor or insurance agent to get COI corrected

• Work with management on approvals for deviations

• Maintain Risk Connect data base

• Upload Certificates and other back up information

• Add new vendors

• Update vendor information

• Data clean up

• Email vendors/insurance agents for COI renewals

• Includes requesting Master PO Agreement or other documentation as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong attention to detail

• Proficient skills with Excel and Outlook

• Professional written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter

• Follow up and research skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties
