We’re currently hiring a Social Media Marketing Intern to help us manage our Social Media Presence and Community. You’ll work closely with our Communications Director in developing a social content strategy and calendar for each of our major social channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, Meetup, Wordpress for blog and more.
Responsibilities:
Take charge of social media content day-to-day, including creating content, posting, active monitoring, responding to, and distribution of followers feedback.
Support Communications Director in execution of paid social activity later this year (e.g., promoted posts, contests, etc.).
Competitive analysis of both social marketing strategy and creative assets generate by our competitors and other best-in-class delivery startups; make recommendations for changes to our strategy and campaigns (e.g., social contests, content, etc.).
Work on generating reports from both paid and unpaid social engagement (what’s working and what’s not based on insights from our performance metrics).
Bachelors degree (pending – ok) in marketing, communications, journalism or related field
Exceptional writing skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage several tasks at once
Knowledge of design software including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator;
Must be in the know of current design trends
Proficiency with social media platforms, familiar with Hootsuite
Bilingual (French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese) applicants preferred, not required
