Our operations team is looking for a dedicated individual who can quickly assume ownership of day-day

Responsibilities:

• Supplement the operations team, assisting in the management of inventory logistics, fulfillment, and sales operations
• Support entry into new retail channels, including arrangement of new samples, review samples, and documentation development
• Monitor and respond to all customer feedback and reviews through various E-commerce and social media support tools
• Manage replacements and returns logistics
• Project management of ERP systems integration and inventory consolidation strategy
• Inventory planning for next generation products
• Aid our customer experience team with support inquiries, and grow our knowledge center

Eight Sleep is a NYC-based technology startup using technology to improve sleep quality. After a successful crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, we spent two years designing the perfect sleep monitoring solution. This work became our first product - an app-enabled smart mattress cover, with advanced sleep analytics and environment monitoring. Our second product is a smart bed, that combines our proprietary sleep sensing technology with a premium memory-foam mattress.

Skills / Qualifications

• You have a strong interest in working with a growth-stage startup, contributing to a small and dedicated team
• You live in or near New York City
• You are a fast learner, with a strong interest in pursuing a career in retail operations
• You are extremely detail-oriented and organized in your daily life
• Excel literate, and extremely data driven
• You are a self-starter who is comfortable delivering excellent work with limited guidance
• You embrace teamwork, and are willing to stretch outside of your own comfort zone and responsibilities to do whatever is necessary to help the team succeed
• You are very comfortable with spreadsheets and Google Docs
• Prior experience working in operations is a plus
