Position Summary and Project Details:

This summer you will have the exciting opportunity to work in Samsung Mobile Commerce Team, and build operational toolset to enhance our content operators deliver engaging content to our customers. You will work on cutting-edge technology in Samsung Mobile Commerce Team, in upgrading our Augmented Reality experience. Our goal is to provide a natural scene recognition and deliver a visualization with appropriate Samsung products on the scene.

General Duties include but are not limited to:

• Hands-on product development and build high quality mobile apps using JavaScript and React
• Collaboratively work with mobile and product evangelists to rapidly create new products and customer solutions
• Continuously innovate and write scalable ecommerce applications with great looking UI
• Investigate and prototype new concepts in a wide range of services including backend OR frontend tool

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Math, or equivalent engineering field
• Strong Analytical and Communication Skills
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals with Data Structures & Algorithms
• Good understanding of Web and/or Native App (iOS/Android) Development
• Experience in any Javascript framework such as Node.js, Angular, jQuery, Backbone

Internship Eligibility:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited University
• Must have proper work authorization
• Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA
• Attend New Hire Orientation on first day
