As an intern within the Design Services organization, you will be focused on providing library IP solutions, including standard cells, memories, and I/O’s, and other design collateral to the entire company. This internship is available immediately part-time, then moving to full-time in the Summer of 2022. We work in a highly collaborative environment, collaborating with design teams throughout the company in a dynamic environment where innovation is encouraged and rewarded.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop IP characterization and design view generation
Script development for automation
Re-package and coordinated release of third-party IP
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Basic Understanding of CMOS devices including fabrication process
Basic Understanding of VLSI and APR flow
Extensive experience with spice simulations
Working experience in Perl script coding
Understanding of a typical analog design flow and tools for schematic entry, simulation and layout
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in mixed signal circuit layout
TCL and Skill coding nice to have
Familiarity with industry RTL compilers
Familiarity with industry-standard place and route tools
Familiarity with running DRC and LVS
