    About the Program

    Apply your academic competencies in supply chain fundamentals, operations and business management, and analytical thinking while developing the personal skills necessary for success in the Operations function.

    The Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Next Gen Operations Program (NGOP) is a one-year rotational development program designed to develop the future leaders of our Operations organization. As an NGOP associate you will gain experience through rotational assignments across multiple functions including:

    • Logistics
    • Warehousing
    • Transportation
    • Distribution
    • Production

    Overview

    Associates will also lead and manage an improvement project, challenging their workplace and leadership competencies: planning and organizing, problem solving, decision-making, teamwork, and collaboration. In addition, Associates in the program benefit from intensive and ongoing training and mentoring opportunities - including presentations to some of our company’s most senior executives. Graduates of the program will be prepared to succeed in future supervisory roles at new or existing distribution centers throughout Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage an improvement project
    • Challenging their workplace and leadership competencies
    • Planning and organizing, problem solving, decision-making, teamwork, and collaboration

    Additional Primary Responsibilities

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Must be a graduating senior (December 2025 or May 2026 graduates)
    • Preferred degrees: Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management
    • No more than two years professional working experience
    • Demonstrated leadership in school or work and proven track record of delivering results
    • Willingness to relocate after completion of rotational program
    • Will require overnight work during Warehouse Production rotation (~5 weeks)
    • Must be 21 years old or older at the start of the program

    Physical Demands

    • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
    • Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
    • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
