    Internship Overview

    We are seeking passionate and innovative individuals to join our Food Science Internship program for the summer of 2025. As a food science intern at Unilever, you will gain hands-on experience in product development, quality assurance, and food safety. You will work closely with our food scientists and product developers to create and improve products that delight consumers and meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Product Development: Assist in the formulation and development of new food products. Conduct experiments and trials to test product concepts and improve existing products.
    • Quality Assurance: Support quality assurance activities, including sensory evaluation, shelf-life testing, and compliance with regulatory standards. Help ensure that products meet Unilever’s quality and safety requirements.
    • Food Safety: Participate in food safety assessments and audits. Assist in the implementation of food safety protocols and procedures.
    • Data Analysis: Analyze data from experiments and tests to draw conclusions and make recommendations. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement.
    • Innovation and Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in food science. Contribute to research projects and innovation initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Passion for food science and a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
