    Internship Overview

    We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical individuals to join our Finance Internship program for the summer of 2025. This internship is specifically focused on corporate accounting, providing hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and profit and loss (P&L) management. As a finance intern at Unilever, you will work closely with our finance professionals to support key financial operations and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Corporate Accounting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • P &L Management: Support the monitoring and analysis of profit and loss accounts, identifying trends and variances to inform business decisions.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in the budgeting process, helping to develop and refine financial forecasts. Assist in tracking actual performance against budgeted targets.
    • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data.
    • Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Use financial modeling techniques to support strategic initiatives.
    • Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of internal controls.

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with advanced Excel skills preferred.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of P&L management and financial reporting.
