Position Description

You will serve as a AIRCRAFT EXAMINER (GENERAL) in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will review logbooks of aircraft components to obtain such information as number of hours flown, location and conditions of operating (as, for example, whether carrier or land based), any crash damage sustained, etc.
• You will determine which components meet quality standards and decides which can be left in place or which must be removed to give access to other components.
• You will examine, evaluate, and analyze the condition of electrical systems such as flight control systems, defense electronics, countermeasures systems, airborne fire control, radar systems, etc.
• You will interpret/diagnose equipment read-outs on newly manufactured items or existing wiring harnesses.
