Position Description

You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the Training Systems Procurement Department of NAWCTSD ORLANDO. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-12454047-24-YNS. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will define initiatives and develop plans that achieve specific procurement objectives that satisfy mission needs.
• You will ensure solicitation is structured consistent with Acquisition Strategy identified.
• You will ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place to support procurement of services.
• You will evaluate proposals and/or quotes against evaluation criteria to determine competitive range and/or selection for award.
• You will evaluate sole source proposal or quote to establish the Government's negotiation position.
• You will analyze proposed costs and/or prices to determine if fair and reasonable.
• You will negotiate contract price, terms, and conditions for products and/or services and prepare contract award documentation.
• You will ensure procurements comply with law, regulations, and sound business judgment.
• You will ensure all contract files are complete, organized, and electronically filed in a timely manner.
