DESCRIPTION: This position supports the national security of the United States.

Lockheed Martin’s Aeronautics, home of the F-35 Lightning II fighter, is looking for an energetic Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) within the Security & Emergency Services (SES) organization at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland.

The primary mission of the Lockheed Martin SES organization is to mitigate risk and promote the safety and security of company personnel and assets, and to ensure compliance with U.S. government and other customer security requirements in support of U.S. national security interests.

As the CPSO you will support test activity for the most advanced combat aircraft in the world. You will be responsible for the management and oversight of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics program security.

Must be a US CITIZEN – This position is located in a facility that requires special access.

THE SELECTED CANDIDATES WILL:

• Have experience in either DoD Collateral Program, Special Access Program, Personnel Security, Physical Security, and/or Security Education & Training
• Possess a Security Clearance, current within the past 5 years or be able to obtain a clearance
• Be able to obtain and maintain SAP Access
• Be self-driven and results-oriented, capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently and across an ambiguous and uncertain landscape
• Be highly organized and have very advanced oral and written communication skills, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Have experience commensurate with the assignment, or applicable education from an accredited college or specialized education program.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Special Access Program (SAP)security.
• Three or more years in a security related discipline.
