Position Description

You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (F-35 Lightning Support Team) in the FST ENGINEERING DIVISION of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will be assigned to aircrafts involving highly complex and integrated structural mechanical, hydraulic, power, thermal, and flight control systems that require a wide variety of engineering technical skills to support.
• You will provide engineering technical services and liaison with other activities, manufacturers, and contractors.
• You will analyze, develop, and provide technical decisions and engineering dispositions in support of the local or off-site depot production line shops and various component processing back shops.
• You will develop inspection bulletins to inspect for and correct potentially unsafe conditions.
• You will develop redesign options and evaluates contractor proposals for improved designs and redesigns.
