Position Description

You will serve as a EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST in the Human Capital Management Group, Equal Employment Opportunity Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will process informal and formal EEO complaints, conduct counseling sessions, prepare counselor reports, and facilitate resolutions through settlement discussions or alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes.
• You will process requests for reasonable accommodations under the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies while addressing workplace needs and employee concerns.
• You will analyze organizational data to identify trends, barriers, and opportunities for improvement in fostering equity and inclusion.
• You will contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of affirmative employment and diversity initiatives, assisting with the preparation of required reports through the collection and analysis of relevant information.
