    Position Description

    You will serve as either an ELECTRICAL/COMPUTER/ELECTRONCIS ENGINEER in the DIGITAL ANALYTICS. INFRASTRUCTURE AND TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENT (DAiTA GROUP), PROTOTYPING, INSTRUMENTATION AND EXPERIMENTATION (PIE) DEPARTMENT, AIRCRAFT INSTRUMENTATION DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. You will serve as the Chief Engineer of the Aircraft Instrumentation Division.

    Position Duties/Responsibilities

    • You will provide technical leadership and oversight to develop and integrate technologies, practices, policies, procedures, and develop employees to ensure technical excellence and consistency.
    • You will oversee conceptual and detailed design, development, prototyping, and life cycle support for advanced aircraft instrumentation systems, components, and related technologies.
    • You will represent the organization, as a technical expert, in tri-service technical groups, and develop standards that are used throughout DoD, private industry and internationally.
    • You will serve as the Aircraft Instrumentation Division’s technical expert representative in meetings and dealings with senior managers from various other agencies and industry.
    • You will appoint Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for instrumentation flight clearance chops as well as ensure that all appointed personnel meet their training qualifications.
    • You will make presentations, trainings and publish papers on advanced technical issues that have a significant effect on the future of aircraft instrumentation and telemetry throughout DoD and industry.
