  • Responsibilities

    Position Description

    You will serve as an Interdisciplinary Expert Engineer in the Mission Systems Test and Evaluation Department of NAVTESTWINGLANT NWCF. If selected, your salary will be set in accordance with the established control point of this position which is $139,395 - $181,216.

    Position Duties/Responsibilities

    • You will serve as a technical advisor for Test and Evaluation matters and review test plans and reports of other branch members for technical accuracy and compliance with agency standards.
    • You will act as the central point of contact for systems development issues and make recommendations on matters such as schedules for evaluating/correcting deficiencies and support facility requirements.
    • You will establish objectives, priorities, and schedules to provide timely support efforts for equipment, facilities, and other resources to meet test objectives.
    • You will attend technical meetings to remain current with technological advances and to keep abreast of new systems and vulnerabilities, while also making official technical presentations.
    • You will maintain cognizance of current and future long-range technologies while establishing interfaces with other agencies to promote cross talk and technology transfer.
