Position Description

You will serve as a Lead Security Guard in the Commander, Security Office of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will stand at assigned post during shift hours at all Entry Control Points (ECP) accessible during their specific shift or perform security patrols as directed in accordance with security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• You will ensure general guard force is properly carrying out the duties of each specific post as assigned during shifts.
• You will control access to the facility by maintaining surveillance through rover duties of standing post at all ECPs enforcing all security rules and regulations set in place in accordance with their SOPs.
• You will monitor situations for public safety and security and reporting to proper authorities any suspected violations.
• You will enforce any special orders and implement any additional security checks or procedures in these areas.
• You will assist the Branch Head and Division Head with setting shift schedules and updating SOPs.
