This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: the ability to perform common tasks including: Utilizing Traditional NDT or NDI of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, subassemblies, and components in accordance with specifications and directives; locating, identifying and measuring surface or sub-surface defects; operating NDI/NDT equipment according to technical manuals/directives for the particular type of test equipment; documenting inspection results; and complying with all required safety regulations.Applicants must meet the requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Job Qualification Handbook for Trades and Labor Occupations.
