Position Description

You will serve as a PLANNER & ESTIMATOR (SHEET METAL MECHANIC) in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPT of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will evaluate work requests to determine requirements and cost estimates for planner and estimator functions.
• You will examine damaged parts and determine the sequence of operations for repair or replacement.
• You will assign sheet metal work to be accomplished by junior employees, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
• You will calculate and scribe patterns for the fabrication of metal parts to be used in conjunction with aircraft and aircraft components.
• You will determine facility and sheet metal equipment availability for cost effective rework or aircraft or aeronautical equipment.
