Position Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Fleet Support Team (FST), HQ Tech Data Department Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will serve as the FST HQ Tech Data Department Head overseeing all process, policies and tools, enabling the success of our enterprise wide FSTs.
• You will approve and/or modify multi-year and long-range organizational resources regarding training, workload execution, prioritization and capabilities development expenditures.
• You will lead qualified personnel, processes, facilities (i.e. tech data libraries, data repositories, etc.), and ensure requirements are translated into sound FST technical data products.
• You will establish support requirements through active participation in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Navy Planning, Programming, and Budget system (PPBS) process.
• You will oversee life cycle cost considerations of technical data tradeoffs for varying degrees of capability to ensure requirements are balanced with affordability.
