You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the ADVANCED SECURITY DIVISION, SECURITY DEPARTMENT. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number:ST-12625984-25-JMG. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will serve as the branch head for a team of Security Specialists with the Special Security Office (SSO).
• You will provide management, oversight, and administration of the Information, Personnel, Physical, and Industrial Security programs within Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) in support of various teams across the Command.
• You will maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities; and providing leadership and supervision.
• You will provide coaching, counseling, and discipline to employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job results; conduct training; implement enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• You will maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards; adhering to legal regulations.
• You will administer all aspects of the security program protecting the Command from espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information or material considered vital to mission interests.
• You will establish priorities and coordinate work across projects, programs or people, and effectively balance work demands.
• You will communicate orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately to a large range of audiences.
• You will manage Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs): The SSO oversees the operation of all SCIFs in the command, including security, control, and use.
• You will also as the appointed Special Security Officer (SSO) for NAWCWD.
