Position Description

You will serve as a WOODCRAFTER (PAINTING WORKER) in the Industrial Maintenance Execution Branch of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will build, repair, modify, assemble, fit and install wooden or composition equipment such as cabinets, lockers, tables and special work benches, racks and stands for aeronautical parts.
• You will bend and laminate selected wood or composition materials to make molds and form blocks for the irregular shaped parts
• You will construct and install bulkheads to fit the curved and irregular shape of the aircraft fuselage
• You will make various joints by rabbeting, mortising, tenoning, gluing and doweling
• You will perform woodworking and carpentry services required for maintenance and repair to the interiors and exteriors of buildings, facilities, and structures within the depot.
• You will utilize various hand and power woodworking tools
