This position will teach you the most important stage of large-scale website development: Content & Data Structure Planning. You'll understand how the early stages of a web project affect the full project life of a website development project.

You'll have your hands in various steps in the process, such as:

• Translate an existing website into a workable Information Architecture interface

• Translate a design into an initial feature set

• Help plan a software development schedule

• Learn the basics of git workflow

• Build a site's data structure interface based on the wireframes

• Review completed work for additional edits

• Make edits directly to a project and commit via git

• Learn agile techniques for managing software development

This project is especially helpful for someone with little experience in web development workflow. Through this project you will learn a LOT and will be exposed to the 50k-ft-view of the web development process.

If you are accustomed to learning new things, to self-organizing, and to thinking abstractly, you will be a great match for this internship
