Full Time Designer & Project Coordinator ($40k)
Work every other Saturday (9:00 am -4:30 pm) and occasional evenings to accommodate client meetings and product training sessions. *Note: during the weeks that you work Saturdays, you will get 1 day off during the week (specific day to be chosen by you)
Set up client meetings and visit clients' homes for:
Initial sales meetings (meet client, talk through scope of proposed work, take measurements and pictures)
Aid in product selection (fixtures, color scheme, etc)
Oversee project development
Complete drawings (floor plans and renderings) to develop a design & its proposal, client selections, permit drawings for the Township
Write proposals, aid in the estimation and bidding of projects
Put together permit packages and paperwork to submit to the Township
Manage, update & improve social media presence and advertising on the A&E website, blog, Houzz, Facebook and Twitter
Develop and implement new marketing strategies
Manage vendor relationships, stay up-to-date on latest products (fixtures, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, hardware, etc)
Maintain and develop showroom (product and material samples, literature, etc)
Keep computer database & paperwork files organized and up-to-date
Organize, manage and oversee development of a project
Write & update construction schedules for the clients, keep track of invoices and billing of job
Must be a motivated self starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow at a family owned award winning design/build construction company.
Partially paid (50%) medical insurance after 6 months
Flexible working hours - provided the work is getting done and clients are being served properly
Cell Phone Reimbursement (a smart phone will be provided or reimbursement for a personal smart phone at $50/month)
Gas reimbursement ( reimbursement for gas ".30 per mile" or personal gas card privileges depending on how much driving is required by your employment)
Paid holidays after 3 months of employment
Paid 1 week vacation after 12 months of employment (Note: vacation w/out pay will be allowed during the first year, provided advance notice is given).
Yearly performance review
6 month salary review based on productivity and profitability of your efforts
