  • Responsibilities

    The College of Fine Arts seeks an Administrative Coordinator for Boston University's School of Visual Arts. This position serves as the central supporting staff member for the School of Visual Arts administrative offices, providing support for the Directors and Assistant Director including event planning and community development. This position manages the reception area and supervises work-study and graduate student employees. The Administrative Coordinator hires, schedules and generates payment for all classroom models, and assists with student services, admissions, the Visual Arts Summer Institute and special projects.

    Required Skills

    • A cover letter is required for consideration.

      • BFA/BA/BS, and 2+ years of relevant experience.
      • Excellent organizational skills and phone manner are essential as well as a friendly and patient demeanor.
      • Prior student services related or art exhibition experience a plus.
