    Join Our Team at the Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground! Are you passionate about fostering inclusivity and community engagement? The Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground, a mission-driven inclusion center at Boston University, is looking for an Assistant Director for Thurman Center Operations to join our dynamic team. Rooted in the philosophy of Howard Washington Thurman, our center is a vital part of BU's 2030 Strategic Plan, offering a 20,000 square foot facility that includes classrooms, programming spaces, conference rooms, and more. As the Assistant Director for Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our center's facilities. You'll manage the reservation process for events, liaise with key BU departments and external organizations, and serve as the primary point of contact for event organizers. Your leadership will extend to recruiting, hiring, and training our front desk student staff, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for all.

    We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred), 3-5 years of relevant experience, and a strong background in database management and project management. If you're ready to contribute to a community that values inclusion and shared experiences, we want to hear from you!
