ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ADVISOR TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT, Undergraduate Advising

To advance our educational mission, BU is further expanding our undergraduate academic advising resources. In collaboration with many stakeholders, the inaugural Associate Director of Advisor Training and Development will be responsible for contributing to this expansion and enhancement of academic advising at BU. Working collaboratively with colleagues in BU's undergraduate schools and colleges, the Associate Director of Advisor Training and Development will build and lead a comprehensive onboarding, training, and professional development program for approximately 120 professional undergraduate academic advisors at Boston University. In addition, the Associate Director will manage ongoing communication to the advising community, including delivery of important curriculum and policy updates. This position will support the expansion of existing professional development and community building activities for advisors. The Associate Director of Advisor Training and Development reports to the Assistant Provost for Undergraduate Advising and Student Success.
