    **About the Role
    ** Boston University is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and collaborative Associate Registrar for Student Academic Records to join our Office of the University Registrar senior leadership team. This essential role is responsible for overseeing student records management processes across all university programs and is critical in supporting our mission to deliver exceptional services to students and alumni.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Semester Registration: Lead and manage semester registration, including a cross-registration program within the Boston Consortium.
    • Records Management: Manage processing of withdrawals, leaves of absence, and ensure compliance with state authorization for online programs and relevant federal, state, and university policies.
    • Transcript & Diploma Services: Oversee security, management, and issuance of transcripts and diplomas for all students, maintaining systems and vendor relationships for secure document handling.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with Student Accounting Services and Enrollment Services Operations to support registration, records, holds, special programs, graduation, and related processes.
    • Compliance & Verification: Manage NCAA compliance verification for over 800 Division I athletes each semester.
    • Process Improvement: Evaluate and implement policies, training materials, and procedural improvements to enhance the experience of students, faculty, and staff.
    • Leadership & Supervision: Directly manage a team including Senior Assistant Registrar, Assistant Registrars, and collaborate with the Operations team to ensure seamless execution of critical activities.

    Boston University Enrollment Services Operations is part of the Enrollment & Student Administration unit (ENSA). BU Enrollment Service Operations plays a critical role in ENSA’s mission; enrolling and retaining students, by supporting and designing operational and technical infrastructure to support the student user experience.
