Job Description

** Broad Function and Purpose of Position** :

The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for vendor maintenance, reconciling vendor accounts and assisting with financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.

** Specific Responsibilities:**

• Monitor ACH and wire rejections, obtain corrected bank information, reverse rejected payments and ensure reissued payments go out successfully.
• Responsible for Vendor Maintenance: setting up/and or confirming new vendors, vendor and banking updates.
• Research payment issues.
• Assist with vendor relationships.
• Run productivity reports and perform analysis.
• Monitor Open AP report and assist with resolutions to close out open items.
• Assist in Intercompany Netting related activities as needed.
• Special Projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• 2+ years of professional work experience in Accounts Payable preferred
• Good analytical skills • Strong computer orientation and proficiency with Excel is strongly preferred
• Strong relationship building and communication skills required to work with co-workers around the world and across all business levels
• Attention to detail, an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
