Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part-Time Clinical Instructors interested in teaching students in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
Clinical teaching is typically scheduled for at least one weekday, weeknight, or weekend (multiple schedule options may be available) for an 8-week session at a clinical partner site. Chamberlain students experience practice settings that include large and small hospitals, long-term care facilities, community and public-health agencies, faith-based service organizations, independent practices, ambulatory care centers, public health agencies, military services (Army, Navy, and Air Force), VA Medical Centers, schools, home health environments…anywhere healthcare is delivered.
Fundamental Nursing Skills: Content focuses on health promotion and the rehabilitative aspects of patient care. Students provide direct patient care in the acquisition of skills and concepts of professional nursing. The nursing process is utilized as the student implements basic aspects of nursing practice.
Adult Health (Medical-Surgical) Nursing : The focus of this course is on the needs of adult patients and their families in relation to health promotion and management of conditions that require acute and chronic care. The nursing process is used in the discussion of health alterations affecting selected life processes. Students continue their professional skill development as members of the health team.

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Campus:
_In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on the candidate’s education and experience.
Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
