    The Questrom School of Business at Boston University invites applications for a tenure track opening at the Assistant Professor level in the Markets, Public Policy, and Law Department beginning July 1, 2025. Our search focuses on applied microeconomists working in areas related to business. While we will consider candidates from a wide variety of fields, including but not necessarily limited to industrial economics, innovation economics, labor economics, organizational economics, macroeconomics, and law and economics, the successful candidate’s research and teaching interests must enhance Questrom’s reputation for research on and teaching of business.

    Required Skills

    Candidates should have or expect to complete a Ph.D. by July 1, 2025, and must also have a strong record of teaching and research. Successful candidates will conduct research, teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level (including classes in business economics, managerially-relevant quantitative methods, and business analytics) and perform service. Salary, research support, teaching load and benefits are competitive.
