    The Department of Sociology at Boston University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2025. We seek a colleague with research and teaching interests in urban sociology, and who can also contribute to at least one additional area of departmental strength or targeted growth, including health and medicine, culture, environmental sociology, law and crime, race, and global/transnational sociology.

    Required Skills

    The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching in urban sociology, and should be able to teach core theory, methods, or introductory courses.
