The Associate Dean I will function as part of a leadership team in conjunction with the Dean and/or Associate Dean II. The people filling these positions will need flexibility and creative problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to their professions, assessment, accountability, and evaluation.
Responsibilities
The Associate Dean I is a full-time academic administrator who reports to the Dean and/or Associate Dean II, and works closely with academic administrators, academic advising, administrative staff, and faculty.
Maintains quality and integrity of the program curriculum Coordinating faculty recruitment, orientation, development, mentoring, and evaluation Organizing activities of specialization coordinators; working with other service units on faculty development matters College and University committee service; scholarship; and evaluating/assessing the academic programs and student academic performance.
Developing and maintaining community amongst faculty and students.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards

_In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $80336.75 and $145077.09. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
