Associate/Specialist, K-12 English Content Design

Nationally recognized for achieving outstanding academic results for students from all backgrounds and zip codes, we have created an innovative K-12 school model that is preparing current and future generations of children with the subject mastery and skills to succeed in college and life. We now need a results-driven, thoughtful, and creative Associate/Specialist, K-12 English Content Design to join our team.

Reporting to the Leader of K-12 English , the Associate, K-12 English Content Design will be a results-driven educator looking to use their rigorous academic knowledge and strong project management skills to design, write, and revise new and existing courses for the English program aligned to our pedagogical values and English program vision.

Key responsibilities include:

• Writing rigorous, engaging, and college-preparatory literature- and writing-focused curriculum for a multi-year English program centered on rich texts, critical analysis, and academic writing;

• Creating all necessary lesson materials - educator-facing text analysis, discussion and writing prompts, scholar-facing tasks and assessments, et cetera - for assigned units of study aligned to the vision for English at Success Academy;

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support English content creation across grades K-12 and to complete ad hoc tasks, projects, and initiatives across our Education Institute department as needed,

A successful applicant will have the following skills, characteristics, and values:

• A 4 year college degree with an outstanding record of academic achievement and leadership;

• Demonstrated content knowledge and expertise through relevant coursework or related experience;

• Extremely strong writing ability;

• Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and efficiency.

• For Specialist, 2+ years of relevant professional experience.

Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $58,500.00 - $66,000.00
