  • Responsibilities

    The College of Fine Arts seeks a Business Manager for the School of Music. This position provides management of the School of Music's administrative and budgetary functions:

    • Provides oversight of administrative areas, including faculty actions as well as budget and financial management, near-term and long-range planning for the College's largest and most complex school, and day-to-day implementation of the SOM's operating policies and procedures.
    • As part of the School's Senior Management team, serves as an advisor to and works directly with the Director and Associate Director of the School of Music.
    • Works with senior staff in the School of Music as well as Dean's Office personnel, and faculty on matters of administrative oversight for the School, particularly as they relate to exploring opportunities and helping to negotiate and implement new initiatives for the School of Music.

    This position reports to the Senior Associate Dean for Finance and Administration.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 5-8 years of experience
