  • Responsibilities

    The Environmental Health Administrative Assistant Performs a wide variety of front desk, administrative and office support tasks and activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations support of Environmental Health. Serves as primary operational and administrative contact for all internal and external constituencies. Coordinates the provision of office needs and staff support services to the office and participates in the coordination and completion of special projects and/or events.

    Required Skills

    • High school diploma
    • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant office experience required.
    • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
    • Computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel primarily).
    • Ability to handle highly confidential information with appropriate discretion and sensitivity.
    • Must be committed to providing the highest level of customer service and responsiveness.
    • Demonstrated experience working in a high volume, deadline-oriented customer focused environment.
    • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Position is hourly, non-exempt.
    • Standard operating hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, M-F. Some evenings/weekends may be required when staffing events etc.
