  • Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Director of Digital Strategy & Marketing Operations, the Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of strategic marketing and communications plans to promote BU Law programs and events. The specialist serves as project manager and vendor liaison on the production of print collateral for internal clients; develops content and design for admissions materials, promotional flyers, posters, and slides on digital screens; and creates web pages and copy. The specialist supports management of the office budget by working with Procurement to create vendor contracts and purchase orders and managing the accounts payable process.

    Required Skills

    • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing or a similar role
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
    • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress
    • Strong understanding of SEO strategies
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
    • Knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and creativity
    • Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
    • Understanding of web design principles and user experience (UX)
    • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
