The primary responsibility of the Assistant Director of Admissions is to partner with the Director of Enrollment Management and Institutional Advancement to facilitate BU Academy’s admission and enrollment management functions. Admission efforts include, but are not limited to: representing BU Academy at outreach and recruitment events; interviewing prospective students; evaluating applications and serving as a member of the Admission Committee; managing student volunteers; communicating with prospective students and families and running the full day visit program; and providing administrative support. The Assistant Director also oversees enrollment for new families and re-enrollment for returning families. This position is a member of BU Academy’s Institutional Advancement team and as such, will work to plan and implement activities including fundraising events, development and alumni relations efforts, and constituent relations. Additional responsibilities may include a combination of student advising, leadership of student groups, and chaperoning events throughout the year. The role includes significant independent decision making, collaboration with colleagues, and night and weekend commitments.
Required Skills
Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of experience.
