Description
The Department of Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics invites applications for a full-time position as Assistant or Associate Professor of Engineering. This position involves instructing undergraduates in engineering and computer science courses, along with maintaining an active research program and participating in undergraduate mentoring and advising. Qualified candidates must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education. The potential to develop an externally funded research program is preferred. Candidates must have a strong record of scholarly and professional achievements.
The Department of Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics is composed of eight full-time faculty, two part-time faculty, and various adjunct faculty. There are over 130 students seeking degrees in six majors and one masters program: Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, and MS in Applied Statistics and Data Science.
The desired specialization is in electrical engineering, though applicants from other engineering fields will be considered.
