    College & Career Readiness is a grant funded program. Positions are contingent upon continued grant funding


    This position will support and act as a liaison between various areas of the College & Career Readiness (CCR) program, with primary focus on the English Language Acquisition (ELA), Industry training, and Intake/Testing.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Handle logistical duties between various CCR program areas.
    • Determine and manage classroom and instructor technology requirements.
    • Assist students with resource application.
    • Assist Intake staff with student contact, Intake functions, and program assessments.
    • Update and index curriculum, as needed.

    SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently
    • Possess excellent customer service skills
    • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to resolve problems under pressure
    • Ability to trouble-shoot technology issues.
    • Ability to handle multiple job duties at one time
    • Ability maintain confidentiality

    TECHNICAL EXPERTISE PREFERRED/REQUIRED

    • Must be technically competent in all standard Office products (Word, Excel, etc.) and cloud formats and be able to troubleshoot computer systems as needed
    • Must be able to learn and navigate multiple databases, webpages, and applications
    • Acquire and maintain certification for program assessments

    EDUCATION / TRAINING PREFERRED/REQUIRED

    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Knowledge of/Experience working with a diverse population (low income, English language learners, lower academic skills) preferred
    • Knowledge of a secondary language (besides English) is highly preferred

    WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS

    • Part-time; Flexible days and work hours. Evenings required. Travel to off campus sites throughout the eight-county Magic Valley region required (day and evening)
