As a valued member of LifeScape’s interdisciplinary team of specialists, you will be responsible to assess, fabricate, and fit, custom and prefabricated devices for patients within the scope of RISE Custom Solutions services. As a practitioner at our RISE Custom Solutions facility, you will work with patients of all ages alongside of physicians, therapists and other medical staff on and off site. You will have the ability to advance current programs, as well as collaborate to develop new programs.     Required Skills Required Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. ABC, BOC, and/or other certifications required for the processes surrounding orthotics and prosthetics. 

  • Qualifications

    Work requires frequent and regular contact with others so excellent communication skills is a must.  Unique interactions may involve contact with others who have learning differences and/or cognitive deficits. Additional skills may involve the mediation of disputes and confidentiality of sensitive issues plus evaluating resident and family satisfaction. Development of cooperative relationships and utilization of excellent customer service is essential. Organization, documentation and reporting is a necessity for this position.   Reliable transportation is needed as there is extensive travel. Must obtain certification as a long-term care ombudsman within three months of hire.

    This position requires extensive travel to facilities in Wise, Palo Pinto, Parker, Erath, Hood, Johnson Counties.  Occasional travel to Denton and Collin Counties for volunteer trainings.
