Work-based Learning Experiences Coordinator, Strengthening Institutions
The Research Assistant, Senior for the Division of Primary Care Training Research Program, grant number UH1HP303488, will work closely with the Director of Research, Research Investigators, and database manager to build the data base of studies and data support for the research unit.
• Compile research data with specific focus of the project. • Administers telephone survey instrument to consented study participants. • Enters collected survey and chart review data into a computer database and participates • Attend unit research meetings to provide data • Attend national research conferences to stay abreast of current information • Liaison between internal and external constituents, provide daily studies • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills
• Ability to work with little direct daily supervision. • Knowledge of data collection procedures. • Ability preparation proposals and produce technical documents. • Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely verbally and in writing, including the ability to analyze and extract data from conversation and document. • Good interpersonal skills necessary to allow participant recruitment and to establish and maintain effective working relations with other study personnel. • Knowledge of data base management • Familiarity with Microsoft Office components (Access, Word, Excel) is preferable. • Must have personal transportation.
Required Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry or a related field or a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in research study being conducted
