The Campus Ambassador is a crucial role at Elevate Education. You will be responsible for sourcing the next generation of seminar presenters/motivational speakers at Elevate.
Your talent spotting abilities play an important role in ensuring that we can get great, engaging role models out to schools across the state. This ensures that students are engaged and equipped with the skills and techniques to help them achieve their personal best.
So if you have a network of friends/peers that you think would be fantastic public speakers/presenters, then this is the role for you! All you need to do is encourage them to apply (either by speaking with them or by social media postings) and if the candidate is successful in their application, the referral fee is yours!
Elevate’s Campus Ambassadors are responsible for looking out for fellow students/peers that fit this description:
Dynamic: A Seminar Presenter must be someone that 30 teenagers would want to listen to. This often requires an X-Factor or charisma that makes the presenter engaging, dynamic and appealing.
Presenting Skills: A seminar Presenter requires a background and competence in public speaking and/or being in front of a crowd (eg. theatre, performance or comedy).
Availability: We expect a minimum of two days availability from our presenters during the school week.
Driver’s license and access to a car: Not a deal-breaker if you don't though!
Elevate is an education company that attracts high performing people who want to make a difference to school students’ lives. Our presenters (of which we have about 500 around the world) are all current college students, who become role models within the NYC school community.
We are currently delivering incredibly engaging and fun virtual seminars to improve student achievement. You can find more about us online (www.elevateeducation.com).
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
